Academician Professor Dr. Radu Rey is a distinguished figure in the field of mountain economy, making significant contributions to research and policy development with a profound impact on the Carpathian Mountains region. He pioneered economic models for rural mountain development at both national and international levels. Actively involved in shaping legislation related to the mountain economy, he founded key institutions dedicated to research, innovation, professional training, and supporting organizations in this field. Radu Rey has also played a major role in fostering international collaborations that strengthen mountain economies, bringing recognition and tangible benefits to mountain communities.

Prof. Dr. Ovidiu Folcut, Former Rector and Former President of University Senate, Romanian American University, Bucharest, Romania
Ovidiu Folcuț is 1997 graduate of Romanian-American University, School of Domestic and International Business, Banking and Finance.
He holds a Ph.D. in Economics – Bucharest University of Economic Studies
Currently is full professor in the Department of Commerce, European Integration and Business Administration
He published over 75 scientific articles, being director or member of 14th scientific research grants (national or international).



Prof. Dr. Valentina Vasile, Director of the Institute of National Economy - Romanian Academy
Valentina Vasile holds a PhD in economics and is full professor and senior researcher. She is the director of the Institute of National Economy- Romanian Academy and is teaching at Nicolae Titulescu University of Bucharest. She is also a PhD advisor. She has a wide experience as researcher in economics, who participated in internal and international interdisciplinary research projects, main topics of research being labour economics, migration, human capital, digital economy and employment, social policies. She has a good international cooperation as coordinator, team member in interdisciplinary research projects financed from European funds, Horizon2020, SEE Program, Black Sea Basin ENI CBC, CEDEFOP, ILO, Eurofound or other sources like projects financed by universities (i.e. Hitotshubashi University – Tokyo, Japan etc.). She published scientific papers and books indexed in Web of Sciences, Scopus and other international database and acts as reviewer for several scientific journals.


Prof. Dr. Tudor Edu, Vice President of Romanian American University, Bucharest, Romania
Full professor of Marketing (habilitated since 2019) with 19 years of academic experience and over 20 years of practical experience in marketing strategies, consumer behavior, marketing research, market segmentation and positioning.
Education: bachelor in Commerce, master in Marketing and Business Communications and PhD in Marketing.
Research: more than 15 papers published in a number of Clarivate-indexed journals and more than 15 national and international research projects.
Reviewed articles for journals, such as Asia Pacific Journal of Marketing and Logistics, Journal of Marketing Communications, Journal of Hospitality and Tourism Research, Sustainability or Sustainable Development.

Prof. Dr. Otilia Manta, Professor, Ph.D., Doctor of Economics (Finance), and Scientific Researcher at the Romanian Academy
Prof. Dr. Otilia Manta is an esteemed member of the International Engineering and Technology Institute (IETI) and serves on various international academic boards. She holds the titles of Professor, Ph.D., Doctor of Economics (Finance), and Scientific Researcher at the Romanian Academy. With over 25 years of experience in financial and banking consulting, EU project management, and scientific research across multidisciplinary fields, she has established herself as a leading authority in International Financial Relations, FinTech, and Entrepreneurship.
Her expertise includes serving as an Evaluation Expert and Rapporteur for EU Projects, specializing in investment projects, capacity building, and sustainable development on both local and global scales. Additionally, Dr. Manta has founded companies and NGOs, demonstrating a commitment to advancing societal well-being through innovative financial instruments and projects.
Throughout her career, she has authored numerous books, scientific papers, and articles published in international journals, and has held positions as a publisher and editor. She is recognized as an international reviewer, contributing significantly to the advancement of knowledge in her fields.
Dr. Manta's academic and professional endeavours focus on developing innovative financial tools and interactive learning methodologies, particularly in FinTech. She has played a vital role in creating intelligent learning environments aimed at enhancing financial literacy and promoting societal well-being through projects addressing financial technologies, innovative financial instruments, and other critical areas.

Prof. Dr. Rita Yi Man Li, Professor in the Department of Economics and Finance at Hong Kong Shue Yan University
Dr Rita Yi Man Li graduated from HKU (QS global subject ranking 12) and is now a full professor in the Department of Economics and Finance at Hong Kong Shue Yan University. She is also the founder/director of the Sustainable Real Estate Research Center. She has been listed among Stanford University’s World’s Top 2% Scientists for the past four years. She excels in artificial intelligence, information and communication technology, and environmental sciences/energy. She serves on editorial boards and as an SI editor for SSCI/SCIE journals, collaborating with researchers worldwide. She has been invited as a keynote speaker at over 30 conferences. She has received numerous local and international awards and acts as PI and co-I for research grants, including those totalling over 10 million from the Research Grant Council and Public Policy Research Grant in Hong Kong, the ARC Linkage Grant in Australia, and others. She holds visiting positions at several overseas universities, has served as an Endeavour Research Fellow at the University of South Australia, and is a visiting scholar at RMIT, the University of Regina, and Feng Chia University. She has been a PhD thesis external examiner for many universities and a dedicated PhD supervisor at her University.


Prof. Dr. Zhihua Zhang, Taishan Distinguished Professor at Shandong University (China)
Prof. Zhang is leading an interdisciplinary big data mining group, his long-standing researches focus on developing data mining techniques and exploring data-driven interdisciplinary applications. Prof. Zhang has published 9 books (2 with Elsevier, 6 with Springer, and 1 with DeGruyter) and more than 70 articles. These researches have highlighted many times as journal featured paper and title story, and reported many times by New Scientist (UK), China Science Daily, and China Social Science Daily. Prof. Zhang is a PI or co-PI of key scientific research projects from Horizon2020 Framework Program (European Commission), Tibetan Plateau Scientific Expedition Program of Ministry of Science and Technology (China), Ministry of Education (China), Shandong Provincial Government (China), Beijing Municipal Government (China) and so on. Prof. Zhang is serving as an Editor-in-Chief of Int. J. Big Data Mining for Global Warming (World Scientific); a Chief Editor of Arab. J. Geosci. (Springer); an Associate Editor of EURASIP J. Adv. Prof. Dr. Gabriel Xiao-Guang Yue is an outstanding scholar demonstrating remarkable internationalization. His research is widely published in international journals and presented at conferences. As a Co-Founder of IETI, he shows great leadership. Dr.Karima holds a Ph.D. in Mathematics and works as an Assistant Professor at the University of Algiers 1. Her research focuses on data mining, data pre-processing, and image pre-processing. She employs feature selection and feature extraction methodologies to enhance data analysis and model performance. By integrating advanced techniques in both data and image pre-processing, Dr.Karima aims to advance analytical capabilities and address complex challenges in the field.
